Glebe Terrace
And now for something completely different
A couple of years ago we ventured over the Harbour Bridge for this fun project in Glebe.
The existing terrace was completed in 1888, and had apparently had little maintenance since. The first step in dragging it into the 21st century was to demolish the poorly built rear additions, and then create a new kitchen/dining/living space leading to a private covered courtyard.
The first floor gained a new bedroom and bathroom, and we also added a new garage with a studio over at the rear, and a full renovation of everything. Special mention to Carl Dickey from Coco Build who was responsible for the interior detailing, and all the building works – not easy on a tiny site.
